2023 Get Gardening Competition Results
The annual Get Gardening Competition and Expo is a Council initiative which encourages individuals, businesses and community groups to take pride in their properties and streets. Everyone who entered the Get gardening competition this year should give themselves a big pat on the back for the time, effort,love and money taken to showcase your garden to our interstate judge. Beautiful gardens don't happen overnight and judge Estelle Cornell from Allora Gardens, Darwin was extremely impressed at each and every residence and business she visited and very interested to hear of the individual journeys taken to create the gardens. Every garden told a story. Its been great to receive 33 entries in the competition this year (which is up 33% on last year) and it was fantastic to bring the judges to meet as many gardeners as possible during the process. We thank you all for entering and all the effort that has gone into presenting your gardens for the competition.
