In accordance with Section 254C of the Local Government Regulation 2012, notice is hereby given for a Special Council Meeting on Monday 5 August 2024, commencing at 8.30am in Barcaldine Chambers.
At a Special Budget meeting held on 26 June 2024, Council adopted its annual budget for 2024/2025 concentrating on a budget that is given the current economic conditions and cost of living pressures.
The 2024 Get Gardening Competition is now open to all gardeners in the Barcaldine Region with ten categories from which to enter. A new category, open to both town and country gardeners is best gate.
