Upcoming Power Outages in Alpha

Ergon Energy has advised that there will be a series of power outages coming up in Alpha in July.  The affected dates are listd below.

6th July. 105 Customers, these same customers will lose supply on the 8th July
8th July. 445 Customers (Major Outage). Switching Isolation will be approximately half way between Jericho and Alpha
10th July. 137 Customers, these same customers will lose supply on 8th July
12th July. 137 Customers, these same customers will lose supply on 8th July
 

By having these outages,  Ergon will have more options when needing to do maintenance work in the area. It will allow  the ability to back feed or work "live" on the high voltage network thereby reducing the customer number affected during outages into the future.
