Barcaldine Showground

Capacity: approximately 500

The Barcaldine Showground offers wide open place to camp. Designed to be family friendly with communal facilities to encourage visitor interaction and group activities. Camping is open from 1 February to 30 November each year.

The Barcaldine Showground offers:

• Powered sites (a small number) and unpowered sites
• Dump point
• Water

Facilities not available:

• Laundry room (facilities available in Ash Street)
• Wi-Fi

PLEASE NOTE:

1. You cannot book a specific camp site and nor does it guarantee a camp site.
2. No fires permitted.
3. Events held at the showground may create noise and dust.

Dates unavailable for camping due to events:

• 13 to 15 March 2026 - Ball
• 17 to 21 June 2026 - Annual Show
• 23 to 27 July 2026 - Campdraft
• 21 to 24 August 2026 - Private function
• 31 August to 11 September 2026 - Westech Field Days (prep/host/clean up)
