Barcaldine and District Home Assist Secure

Home Assist Secure aims to remove some of the practical housing-related difficulties experienced by older people and people with disabilities who wish to remain living in their home.

Our service provides:

  • Information about minor home maintenance and repairs, minor modifications and home security to those over 60 and the younger disabled. Financial assistance to the forementioned who receive a Government pension or benefit.
  • Safety and security whilst living in your home
  • Increase your confidence about employing tradespeople
  • Home maintenance, repairs and security
  • Covering the towns of Alpha, Jericho, Barcaldine, Aramac and Muttaburra
  • A Field Officer is employed full time to complete works for clients
  • We offer a comprehensive referral service, depending on your needs

Home Assist Secure does not undertake maintenance and repairs that are considered to be the responsibility of the landlord (lesser) under residential tenancy legislation.
