Road Conditions Report
It is advised that motorists proceed with EXTREME CAUTION traversing all roads in the Barcaldine Regional Council area as they may not have been inspected at the time this road condition report was released and conditions are constantly changing.
Road Reports are only issued as conditions change and are issued for the safety of all members of the travelling public and we ask for your cooperation and drive to the prevailing road conditions.

Drive past a Restricted Road Use Notice Application (during wet weather and floods)
Residents and other eligible road users who need to travel within a road-closed area may apply for a Local Use Permit. Written approval can be provided by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) to allow a road user to drive past a restricted road use notice for a single, multi-trip or for those performing roles such as transport inspectors. The below form can be submitted to barcaldine.office@tmr.qld.gov.au when completed. For more information contact the department on (07) 4651 2777.
