Watering Hours

The following water restrictions apply to all residents across the Barcaldine Regional Council area that are connected to the town's water supply:

  • Sprinklers, unattended hoses, soaker hoses, drip system or automatic watering systems - must not be used between 10am - 3pm daily
  • Handheld hoses are permitted at anytime

Commercial premises/business houses, schools, community clubs or churches can make an application to Council for alteration of the watering hours.
