Barcaldine Regional Council is inviting residents, businesses and primary producers to share their experiences of living and working through challenging conditions such as extreme heat, drought, flooding, dust and service interruptions.

Across the Central West, these conditions are familiar. Understanding how they affect people and communities helps Council plan services, infrastructure and public facilities that support the region when conditions become difficult.

Your feedback will help inform Council’s Risk Management Strategy - Climate, which focuses on strengthening the resilience of local infrastructure, services and community facilities over time.

What the survey asks about

The survey asks about:

  • the types of conditions people experience across the region
  • what helps households, businesses and communities cope
  • which facilities and services matter most during disruptions
  • how the community prefers to receive local updates

Survey details

  • Takes about 6–10 minutes and is anonymous
  • Open to residents, businesses and graziers
  • Covers Alpha, Aramac, Barcaldine, Jericho and Muttaburra

Your local knowledge will help Council better understand community needs and plan practical actions for the future.
