Public notice: Current wet weather road conditions

Welcome rain fell over large parts of our area over the Christmas and New Year period.

This has led to widespread damage to our road network and has necessitated the recall of staff from leave to assess the damage and where possible undertake emergency repairs.

This has been hampered in many instances by the ongoing wet weather and the wet road surfaces. We have our supervisory staff undertaking inspections as promptly as they can. However, if you have a critical road condition issue that you wish to report or believe may not have been detected, we ask that you please report this through one of the following methods:

Send your report in an email to council@barc.qld.gov.au

Telephone your local Administration Office

Lodge a service request via the Snap Send Solve app

If you have rough chainage, including the name of the road and a description or photo of the issue would greatly assist our staff.

Many thanks for your patience as we work to restore the network as quickly as possible.
