Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy Public Notice - PLACE NAME PROPOSAL

In accordance with the Place Names Act 1994, notice is given that the Minister for Natural Resources, Mines and Energy proposes to discontinue the names of the localities of Bangall, Tablederry, Cornish Creek, Upper Cornish Creek, Galilee, Dunrobin, Upland, Sardine, Pelican Creek, Ibis, Ingberry, Garfield, Surbiton, Saltern Creek, Hobartville, Beaufort, Pine Hill, Port Wine, Tara Station, Patrick, Barcaldine Downs, Home Creek, Evora, Narbethong, Grant, Mexico, Drummondslope and Sedgeford and alter the boundaries of the localities of Muttaburra, Aramac, Barcaldine, Jericho and Alpha, within the Barcaldine Regional local government area.

Queensland place names plan QPN1398 shows the location of the places considered under the proposal and may be viewed at www.qld.gov.au/environment/land/place-names/proposals-decisions.

Submissions close 19 July 2019
