Temporary Closure

The Barcaldine Showgrounds will be closed as follows:

Monday 21 August to Saturday 9 September 2023 - No camping at the Showground.  No hiring of venues is permitted.

Wednesday 23 August to Saturday 9 September 2023 - No showground access to vehicles (parking outside) still allowing access to the gym, football etc via foot.  NO access to the grum from 6:00 am Monday 4th September up to 6:00 amd Thursday 7 September 2023.

Saturday 2 September to Thursday 7 September 2023- Complete lockd doen of the showground as a security measure for the exhibitors sites.

Racetrack access (horse trainers only) - via Western Gate entrance on Pine Road up to Monday 4 September 2023.  NO access on Tuesday 5 and Wedneday 6 September 2023.

Dump point for Caravaners - via Western Gate entrance on Pine Road up until Saturday 2 September 2023.
