POSTPONED: Strategic 1080 Ground Baiting Campaign

Barcaldine Regional Council advises that a ground baiting program will be occurring across the region during the period of Monday 9 to Friday 13 May 2022 to assist in the control of wild dogs.

Mail advice has been sent to property owners in the area for completion and return by Friday 1 April 2022.

As per Council’s decision to adopt a user pays system for 1080 Baiting in 2021-2022, the following fees will apply.

Flat Rate Participation Fee (Per Property)

1080 Baited Meat – This cost is estimated, actual cost will be advised to participants once the meat has been ordered.
