Weeds and Vegetation

The Barcaldine Regional Council is dedicated to limiting the economic, environmental and social impacts of weeds and pest animals.  This will be achieved by the eradication of as many species as possible, reducing the extent of major weeds, and the integrated, coordinated control of pest animals. 

Council encourages people to use the wash down facilities in the region, to help minimise the spread of pest weeds.

Wash Down Facilities are located:

Alpha, Clermont Road
Aramac, McAuliffe Street
Barcaldine, Myall Street (Council Depot)
Muttaburra, Bridge Street
