Community Event Funding - Flood Recovery Legacy Funding

Please be advised the Barcaldine Regional Counci, on behalf of the CDEI Flood Recovery Funding Program have a small amount of funding available to Community Groups. Funding is available to Community and Not for Profit groups in the Alpha and Jericho area.

The Criteria for the funding is:

1. Organisation must originate in either Alpha or Jericho.
2. Organisation must have held or plan to hold an event in these communities.
3. Event must attract people to the town that host the event.
4. Event can be a one-off or an annual event.
5. All community organisations are eligible to enter.

It is anticipated that the 'event' will attract people to the town and this funding will provide a level of sustainability to the future of these events.

Grants of up to $150,000 available to Incorporated Associations and Organisations.
 
The objective of the JCCBF is to invest in the community sector, enhancing the capacity of
community organisations and groups to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities to
Queenslanders in their local communities.

Organisation eligibility

All organisations must have not-for-profit objectives and be registered with CBFU as a legal entity
or sponsored organisation prior to submitting an application form. All legal entities must have an
active ABN and valid bank account in the name of the legal entity registered with CBFU.

Queenslanders in their local communities.

Barcaldine Regional Council Regional Arts Development Fund is currently running monthly funding rounds for Arts and Cultural Projects. The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) supports the professional development and employment of arts and cultural workers in regional Queensland. RADF is a partnership between State Government, through Arts Queensland, and the Barcaldine Regional Council.
