Water Restrictions
Barcaldine Regional Council has put in place water restrictions in Alpha, Barcaldine and Jericho and these are permanent until further notice.
Watering times applies to all Residential and Business Houses.
Alpha & Jericho Townships:
Sprinklers are not permitted between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm on any day during summer and 10.00amand 3.00pm on any day during winter. Hand held hoses are permitted.
Barcaldine Township
Morning: 6.00am – 9.00am
Evening: 4.00pm to Midnight
This is for everyday of the week.
Should any resident or business not adhere to the water restrictions then a $75.00 fine will be issued.
