Swimming Pools

ALPHA

The Alpha Swimming Pool is located in Dryden Street. It is 25m in length and a small portion of the pool is shaded. Other facilities include change rooms, showers, toilets, shaded seating area and a kiosk. Swimming Club is on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

The pool's open season is usually October - April. Please contact our Alpha Office on 07 4985 1166 for more information.

Our opening hours for the 2012/2013 season are as follows:
Monday to Sunday: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

ARAMAC

The Aramac Swimming Pool is located within the grounds of the Aramac Memorial Park in Gordon Street. The pool is 25m in length, with an individual shaded children's wading pool. Other facilities include change rooms, showers, toilets and a shaded seating area.

The pool's open season is usually October - April. Please contact our Aramac Office on 07 4652 9999 for more information.

Our opening hours for the 2012/2013 season are as follows:
Monday: 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Tuesday: 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Wednesday: 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Thursday: 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Friday: 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Saturday: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

A professional swim instructor has been approached to travel to Aramac on a regular basis to conduct "Learn to Swim" classes. Please contact Paula Coulton for more information on 07 4651 3386.
 

BARCALDINE

The Barcaldine Swimming Pool is located on the corner of Pine and Wilga Street. It is 50m with an individual shaded children's wading pool. Other facilities include change rooms, showers, toilets, BBQ area and a shaded seating area.

The pool's open season is usually October - April. Please contact our Barcaldine Office on 07 4651 5600 for more information.

Our opening hours for the 2012/2013 season are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
                                                         Saturday to Sunday: 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

JERICHO

The Jericho Swimming Pool is located in Pasteur Street. The pool is 10m in length and fully-shaded. Other facilities include change rooms, showers, toilets and a kiosk.

The pool's open season is usually October - April. Please contact the Jericho Information Centre and Post Office on 07 4651 4129 or our Alpha Office on 07 4985 1166 for more information.

Our opening hours for the 2012/2013 season are as follows:
Monday to Sunday: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Tuesday and Thursday
 

MUTTABURRA

The Muttaburra Aquatic Centre is located within the grounds of Jubilee Park in Edkins Street. The pool is 25m in length, with a shaded spa. Other facilities include separate change rooms, showers, toilets and a kiosk and a shaded seating area.

The pool's open season is usually October - April. Please contact our Muttaburra Library and Office on 07 4658 7191 for more information.

Our opening hours for the 2012/2013 season are as follows:
Tuesday to Sunday: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
                                                         Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.
                                                         Sunday: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
